The staff was friendly and helpful, great location, valet parking is a great bonus! (Parking is always a huge hassle at OSU and surrounding areas) It was also beautifully decorated for Christmas.||After having 2 kids got to and graduate …

We are from SC and fly into Columbus several times a year. We truly like the Blackwell…its location, service and all that it offers. The Bistro and bar/lounge have very good menu choices. The OSU students provide friendly service.

Great stay! They provided early check in which was a huge help! Staff was extremely friendly and the room was great. Location was perfect for walking the Ohio State campus, easy valet parking was fast as well!

I was here for a fisher graduation this weekend. There was a man who was in a suit and glasses who said he was “the av guy” trying to help set up a presentation. He had absolutely no idea what to do. Then, a younger man, who multiple people seemed to know in fisher, that was moving out some tables with food saw that nothing was working, so he popped in to help. Thank god he did! With the event nearly about to start the projector was flashing different colors in the ballroom. The man in the suit was nowhere to be found. I did not see the older gentleman who was supposed to help us the rest of the day. However, the young man helped with the projector and got the microphones set up. He helped the rest of the event and when I asked for his name to give him the recognition, he politely said, “I’m just trying doing my job,” however, I did see his nametag said Micheal. You can definitely tell they are under staffed, however they have a good employee in this young man. It is nice to see that some younger adults still take their jobs seriously!

The hotel was nice and the room was comfortable and very clean. However, the lounge and restaurant were closed. We also had no breakfast service. Coffee in the lobby was removed before 10:00 am.||We were in town for 2 days for a family wedding and most of us were all staying at this hotel. This made it very inconvenient for us.

The location is amazing and rooms and service great too! We love staying here! ||||Appreciate having a clean refrigerator, keurig coffee pot and gym in the building too. ||||They offer shuttles where needed. ||||Staff are great!

What a great place to stay before the OSU girls game at value city arena. We walked to the game in about 12 minutes from the time we left our very nice room.

Very nice hotel, Ohio State Sports venues. Heads up, however: we stayed at the hotel during winter break when the hotel does not offer breakfast at its restaurant. We were not made aware of this when we booked our room. There are limited eating options within walking distance of the hotel.
